December 27th to 30th, 2025

This theatre camp was aimed at moulding peace by bringing youth together with the arts. The Gen Z are locked away on their screens and oftentimes are withdrawn from the world and unaware of what’s happening around them. They forget to care and they shrink into themselves. Here, PBFI.3 offered a creative space to use drama and athe arts as an alternative medium to enable them picture a world outside computers.

Bus Stop

Because street paintings and graffitti are among the strongest forms of public art that allows an artist to express themselves on multiple layers, this shantivarnam was a symbol of PEACE & NONVIOLENCE. Some thought had to be given to what Gandhian methods are to be expressed so people in the bus stop would be intersted to stop and see it. The coordinated effort of Artist Sasikala and 14 others gave the “Kannur Old Bus Stand” a new outlook.

The Street Drama and Music by Capuchin Regency Brothers and the Folk music performed by Prateep and Team from Kolam added more colour to the events.

Peace March

There was a peace march from the bus stop to Mahatma Mandir.  This rejuvenated youth were sent forth with the message of PEACE.

Shanti Darshan

After reaching before noon at the Mahatma Mandiram, PBFI organized a platform to share thoughts and perspectives on Peace, Youth and Art. Go Rurban an international youth-led squad performed a play on the mobile phone.  The vocalist Prateep and his daughter from Kollam sang traditional folk songs.  This was a very diverse form of creating peace through the arts.
