DESCRIPTION:Background \nThe Fifth Peacebuilders Forum India (PBFI.5) meeting will be held at the Gandhi Research Foundation (GRF)\, Jalgaon. Since 2024\, PBFI has steadily built up momentum\, capacity\, and collective strength needed to advance the cause of peace.  Today\, amidst the brewing polycrises\, this collegium of peacebuilders aims to harmonize diverse initiatives at both community and national levels. With this in mind\, it is hoped that the participants will join their hearts and minds for PBFI.5 \nAims \n\nExchange the experiences of peacebuilders.\nDevelop thematic group formations for discussion and follow-up actions.\nAlign with Gandhian Principles\nCreate the opportunity for peacebuilders to take up peace advocacy.\nIdentify actions for strengthening international solidarity.\n\nOur Thematic Areas \n\nWomen as Peacebuilders\nPeacebuilding needed in India with attention to communal harmony\nStrengthening solidarity with peacebuilders internationally\nPeacebuilders and Peace Education\nPeacebuilders in conflict areas\nPeacebuilders and climate change\n\nPBFI.5\, 2026 will bring together over 60 individuals from different parts of the country\, uniting them together to share a rich spectrum of perspectives.
