CESCI is designed to support a unique training approach that includes communnity living and cooperative learning. Participants and resource persons live on a campus that reflects a sustainable village life and the peace that comes with the natural surroundings.

The campus features buildings that are constructed from compressed bricks and recycled materials to the extent possible. Trees provide shade, and flowers add beauty to the red brick structures.

The accommodation is situated in two wings that are connected by communal showers and washrooms, with a maximum capacity of hosting 75 people. Most of the rooms have two or three person occupancy their own toilet facilities. There is a kitchen with an open-air dining area, serving sumptous South Indian vegetarian food. An airy meeting and meditation hall faces the dining area. Adjacent is an open-air amphitheater and on the far side of the campus is a library that has books, magazine and videos for viewing. There is a smaller training hall, and in front a gazebo where participants can use as break-out spaces.
